The „Curtain Turbo“

From an idea to a benchmark: CLIC ASSIST is a good example of how HINNO’s drive towards innovation resulted in a new, trend-setting product.

Having started with the development of the Clic glider, the world’s first ever click-in curtain glider, HINNO remains true to its spirit of innovation to this day. The aim has always been to simplify interaction with curtain accessories, optimise handling and develop solutions that save the greatest amount of time possible. CLIC ASSIST is a prime example.

10 curtain sliders at one go

The initial idea is simple: “Who says that each curtain glider has to be clicked into the rail separately? Installing ten sliders at once is much faster!”

It soon became clear there would be another positive side-effect: A ‘click-in aid’ would make hanging up curtains safer, especially for less experienced end users, as they would spend significantly less time on the ladder searching for the next glider and require fewer hand movements.

A simple yet sophisticated product

A simple idea generated numerous demands in terms of product development. It had to be handy, of a practical size and with perfect distances between the gliders so the the click-in aid could be removed easily again once clicked into place. Special brackets hold the gliders and curtain securely, subsequently releasing them safely without any problems.

Finally, CLIC ASSIST had to be developed for gliders with both longitudinal and transverse eyelets. That’s a lot of effort for a small part.

Is it genuine?

The original ´Clic glider is repeatedly confused with other gliders. If their quality does not match the original, this reflects back on HINNO. That is why we are now offering a “Free Glider Check”.

´Clic can also handle heavy curtains

Test series show: the HINNO ´Clic glider reliably withstands loads of up to 20 kilograms.
