Innovative product information across all HINNO packaging types.
Multimedia support and lots of helpful service tools.
HINNO began providing product information on its packaging via a QR code back in 2022, initially on the cardboard boxes delivered to service specialists. Having switched over to paper packaging in DIY stores, the approach was developed into a solution unique throughout the industry. Potentially, it could amount to potential company-wide savings of up to 10 million plastic bags annually!
Non-transparency for more transparency
The challenge is that end consumers are rarely experienced in the field of curtain accessories. Looking through the plastic bag provides at least a little guidance, even if the jumble of contents makes it difficult to see the individual product. Sometimes customers choose gliders that don’t fit into the rail at home, or hooks unsuitable for the curtain type.
Placing a QR code on the paper packaging eradicates this type of confusion. Although the direct view of the product is replaced by graphics, the QR code can be scanned with a smartphone, and the customer receives all the product information, orientation aids and recommendations on the landing page. Copy, pictures, video materials, partly-interactive overviews and tables complete the info service.
